I Just Changed the Title of my First Novel

I was talking to White Buffalo online last night, and he gave me an idea. He told me that his life is "epic." So this morning I decided to change the title of the book to "White Buffalo - The Epic Tale of a Warrior-Prophet"!

To make this entry a bit longer, I'll go into some of my plans for plotting "Elijah: Black Crow."

First: I found a bad error in chapter one of that book. Admittedly, I got one of the names wrong. White Buffalo corrected me on it and I'm still in the process of changing it. There are at least a dozen errors to fix in the manuscript.

Second: PLOT! I'm a panster, not a plotter. That means I write as I go, and prepare little in advance. I don't create a plot outline on paper.

But that doesn't mean I'm not a plotter. I have plans for future chapters.

Third: One of my primary questions about the new book is whether White Buffalo is alive or dead. There are various ways to play this out. If White Buffalo is alive, having been resurrected by the god Poseidon and the council of elders in Atlantis, then he's going to be pissed off at Elijah over his betrayal of Enoch/Fire-Lord at the end of White Buffalo. Plotting ahead, I decided that White Buffalo and Elijah will then have to make up, perhaps after fighting. Elijah would be oblivious of Enoch's anger at him until before the fight beings.

Fourth: Another angle to consider is that White Buffalo is dead, and somebody is shape-shifted as White Buffalo to make Elijah think his friend survived the events above Colchuck Lake. More than likely, that "somebody" will be a bad guy. And even more likely, that bad guy will lead Elijah into a trap. Notice I didn't say "attempt" to lead Elijah into a trap. Elijah is naive and easily misled.

Fifth: My new novel's "end boss" will be the same as before. But who is going to replace the "mid-bosses" after their death in White Buffalo. I'm not the single-villain type of novelist.

Sixth: The more villains, the more excitement. These aren't mere lackeys - they are powerful, evil entities in their own right.

Seventh: I must admit that Turiel came back in Chapter One (The Beast Arises). But there is a new evil villain - the man with the red hair. Who is this man? Is he famous or unknown? Is he shapeshifted? Is he a demon? I have the answer to those questions, so be patient! Please! The answers are forthcoming!
